Token Airdrop Weekly Data Report — Week of September 7 – 13, 2026

1. Week-over-week: the second real comparison

Last week's report established the baseline for comparisons; this week adds a second observation to every series. Each figure below names its source, and where a metric's definition shifted between weeks, the shift is stated rather than hidden.

2. The Alpha threshold series, with a known ambiguity

Event (date)Opening thresholdClaim amountClaim costSource
Series reference points per BlockBeats (Jul → Jan)180 → 200 → 230 → 240 → 241 → 246varies15 pointsBlockBeats
Canopy CNPY (Sep 7)235180 CNPY15 pointsPANews
Block Street BSB Wave 3 (Sep 10)246342 BSB15 pointsPANews, TechFlow
SOON Wave 3 (Sep 1, prior week)250166 SOON15 pointsBlockBeats

Every reference point in BlockBeats' series is higher than the one before it, and 246 is the highest value that series contains. SOON's Wave 3, however, opened at 250 — above 246 — which means the series and the wave events count different event mixes. We flag the conflict instead of resolving it by assumption. What is unambiguous across all rows: the claim cost is fixed at 15 points, all events use the same 5-points-per-5-minutes decay, and all require 24-hour confirmation. The mechanics are stable; the entry prices are not.

3. Deadlines: two fired, one opened, and a counting note

EventDateWhat happenedSource
Gate CandyDrop (1 BTC)Sep 8Closed as published; 0.001 BTC per-user cap; payout distribution not yet published by the exchangeGate
Linera LNRA saleSep 8Closed on its published end date; one-week window that ran Sep 1–8ICO Analytics, Bitrue
Ethos WHUF auctionSep 7Closed at ~$8.4M from 1,560 participants; 20% of 10M supply sold; TGE followed Sep 8TokenPost
Kraken Beldex / Humanity withdrawalOpened Sep 25 countdownAuto-credited replacement tokens must be withdrawn by Sep 25, 14:00 UTC; liquidation Sep 28 – Oct 2, possibly at minimal valueCrypto World Headline W37

Counting note: the Week 37 edition lists five protocol rows — Beldex/Humanity (Sep 25, hard), Grass (Jan 22, 2027, hard), Plume (no end date published), dappOS (no end date published), and GRVT (30 days per tranche, next date unpublished) — of which two carry a printed end date. That is the same ratio as last week, but not the same list, and the swaps matter more than the total. Two changes account for it: Beldex/Humanity entered with a hard date, and Midnight left the list. Midnight's Glacier Drop claim window closed in October 2025; what runs to December 4, 2026 is its thawing phase, which releases supply on a schedule rather than accepting claims, so it is no longer counted as a claim row (it stays in our calendar with that distinction stated). Arcium, present in an earlier edition, is likewise not re-listed because its retroactive grants run in undated rolling waves. We count the rows as the current edition defines them and state the change rather than silently rebasing.

4. Unlocks: the mid-month lull, and a month-total disagreement

September month total — estimate A~$4.5B across the month—E8 Markets
September month total — estimate B~$1.53B (KuCoin estimate)—Streamflow

The month-total rows deserve their own sentence: the two estimates differ by roughly a factor of three, which is the same class of measurement disagreement as last week's 23× HYPE divergence in miniature. The dates in this table are the reliable part; the dollar figures are models of vesting schedules, and different trackers model different inclusions.

5. The WLFI first distribution: what we can and cannot report

The campaign commitment is unchanged: 150 million WLFI across four weekly distributions (September 11, 18, 25, October 2) to eligible USD1 holders, calculated from daily lowest-hourly-balance snapshots with a 1.2× multiplier above 300 USD1 of daily futures open interest and a 70% haircut on borrowed USD1. What changed this week is the calendar position: the first distribution date arrived.

What we cannot report is the outcome. Binance's announcement contains a per-distribution table — effective APR, 1.2× boosted APR, WLFI token value — with each row marked "to be updated" on its distribution date. At our September 14 check, the accessible version still showed placeholders for the September 11 row. We therefore publish the commitment (unchanged, token-denominated) and the gap (unmeasured), and nothing in between: no estimated payout, no assumed APR, no converted dollar figure.

6. What we do not count

  • Self-reported adoption metrics. Canopy's 350,000 users, 25,000 developers, and 7 billion testnet CNPY appear only in the project's own materials. They are reported as self-reported claims, never as market data.
  • Auction subscriptions as valuation. Ethos's ~$8.4M is a demand measure for 20% of supply at a TBD clearing price. It is not an FDV, and the $1M–$99M bid band means the implied valuation is unresolved until the clearing price publishes.
  • Unlock projections as flows. The $4.5B and $1.53B month totals are model outputs. The HYPE precedent — a comparable March tranche of which only about 1.75% was claimed, per TheCryptoBase — shows projected and realized supply can differ by orders of magnitude.
  • Claim events as completed outcomes. CNPY and BSB claims opened and their confirm windows closed, but neither Binance nor the projects has published pool-exhaustion data. We count the events; we do not count the results.

FAQ

1. Why is Midnight no longer in the deadline count?

Because the Week 37 edition of the tracker we count from lists five protocol rows (Beldex/Humanity, Grass, Plume, dappOS, GRVT) and Midnight is not among them: its Glacier Drop claim window closed in October 2025, and what continues to December 4, 2026 is a thawing phase that releases supply on a schedule rather than accepting claims. Two of the five current rows carry a printed end date — Beldex/Humanity September 25 and Grass January 22, 2027 — the same two-of-five ratio as last week, on a changed list. Arcium is not re-listed either, because its retroactive grants run in undated rolling waves.

2. Why is there no distributed WLFI figure for September 11?

Because none was verifiably published to us: the accessible version of Binance's campaign announcement still showed placeholder fields for the first distribution's effective APR and WLFI token value at our September 14 check. We report commitments and actuals separately, and we do not estimate the missing number.

3. Is 246 really the highest Binance Alpha threshold of the cycle?

It is the highest on BlockBeats' series (180, 200, 230, 240, 241, 246), but SOON Wave 3 opened at 250 on September 1. The series likely counts different event mixes. We present both rather than reconcile them silently.

4. How large is September's unlock wave in total?

It depends on the tracker: E8 Markets puts the month at roughly $4.5 billion, while Streamflow cites a KuCoin estimate of about $1.53 billion. The first week alone was estimated near $1.5 billion led by HYPE. The divergence reflects different vesting assumptions, not different facts.

5. What actually fired on schedule this week?

Two dated events closed as published: Gate's CandyDrop 1 BTC event and Linera's LNRA sale, both on September 8. Ethos's auction also closed September 7 as its schedule indicated, with the TGE following September 8.

6. Is this financial advice?

No. AirdropStat publishes research and commentary for informational purposes. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, or farm any token.
